You will be warmly welcomed at the Colombo International Airport by our representative and assist you through to the vehicle. Transfer to your first hotel in Sri Lanka to relax and unwind after a tiring journey.

An absolutely remarkable three days to commence your holiday with a mix of almost everything from great hikes, treks, heritage, culture, nature, wildlife and interaction with local communities to understand the rural village lifestyle.
Hike of Pidurangala rock will be the first of many but will be a unique experience. Watch your following day’s hiking path to magnificent Sigiriya Rock over a stunning sun-set. There is no better view of Sigiriya than what you see from top of Pidurangala. Pidurangala itself is a place with many amusements which we’ll leave for you to discover. Next day you will be discovering the wonders of Sigiriya a 5th century architectural masterpiece and an ancient Kingdom of King Kashyapa. If you are a wildlife enthusiastic Minneriya National Park is just round the corner offering you a remarkable safari experience.
On the third day your tour starts off with a visit to a nearby rural village where you’ll experience the lifestyle of a Sri Lankan farmer. You would be able to walk through the village, take a bullock cart ride and a catamaran ride before learning few tips for an authentic Sri Lankan menu which you be able to taste overlooking the rice fields.
Thereafter you’ll be travelling to another magical site within the cultural triangle called Ritigala. It will be a great trekking experience and a place you could admire the nature and also an important historic monument filled with mythical stories. Ritigala is a fabulous place for all kinds of explorers.
Concluding your visit to the cultural triangle, leave the dry zone and proceed towards the picturesque hill country of the island. On your way to Kandy stop at a spice garden to get an understanding of Sri Lankan spices and herbs. Kandy has a fascinating cultural and historical value as the last Kingdom of Sri Lanka before falling to British rule hence has so much to discover. Kandy Temple is the most sacred Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka, where a tooth relic of Lord Buddha is enshrined since 4th Century AD.
Udawattekele Sanctuary, and the impressive man made Lake are some of the other highlights of Kandy which you could explore by foot.
It is the time to witness the making of world renowned Ceylon Tea in the hills of Sri Lanka and to take a guided walk through the tea plantations! Take a ride in the misty roads passing a world full of tea. Visit a tea plantation and a factory to get an in depth knowledge of the whole process from plucking tea leaves till getting the perfect cuppa. Enjoy the sceneries around Nuwara Eliya also known as Little England for its colonial looks and early English summer type of climate.
It’s time for an early morning trek of Horton Plains a truly rewarding place for nature lovers. Overlooking Sri Lanka’s second and third highest mountains namely, Kirigalpotta and Totapolakanda is the savannah with a rich bio diversity. Wide variety of wildlife, flora & fauna, birds of different kinds topped with waterfalls and misty lakes is the surprise package of Horton Plains. However don’t miss the amazing viewpoint of World's End which will be the jaw dropping moment of your trek.
After refreshing at your hotel board to your train from Nanu-Oya to experience the most scenic train ride in Sri Lanka where you travel passing the tea fields, misty mountain tops, waterfalls, tunnels and the smiling faces of children waving at you from a distance. Get down from Ella the most famous hill country village in the country where you could just relax overlooking the breath-taking views or do some adventurous hikes and treks covering the Little Adam’s peak, Ella Rock and 9 Arch bridge.
Sinharaja is one of the most unique and best preserved tropical rainforests in whole of South Asia, filled with precious herbs, plants, flowers and different kinds of species. This magical place has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage site understanding it’s true value. Rich bio diversity, rare and endemic mammals and birds, water bodies and invaluable plants offers a heaven like experience to the nature lovers. Guided treks will be the only way to explore Sinharaja Rainforest since there are no paths for jeep safaris.
