You will be warmly welcomed at the Colombo International Airport by our representative and assist you through to the vehicle. Transfer to your first hotel in Sri Lanka to relax and unwind after a tiring journey.

Have a small briefing session with your dedicated tour guide, and prepare yourself for an exciting journey of the paradise island.

Your romantic evening commence with a complementary energy-boosting jet lag treatment at the hotel Spa before taking you to an intimate candlelight dinner on the beach or by the pool side.

This morning travel towards North Central Province of the island for two nights stay where you will discover historically illustrious places highlighting the rich Culture and Heritage of Sri Lanka. You will be discovering the wonders of Sigiriya a 5th century architectural masterpiece, and the ancient Kingdom of Polonnaruwa. If you are a wildlife enthusiastic Minneriya National Park is just round the corner offering you a remarkable safari experience.

Blend in with the nature and the colourful culture of the Sri Lankans. Discover the village life, interact with locals to learn the art of preparing some of the favourite authentic cuisines and enjoy a meal overlooking the rice fields, while listening to interesting stories of the farmers.

Dinner to be arranged at a tree house or by the lake under the stars with some folk music to end an incredible day’s work.

Concluding your visit to the cultural triangle, leave the dry zone and proceed towards the picturesque hill country of the island.  On your way to Kandy stop at a spice garden to get an understanding of Sri Lankan spices and herbs. Kandy has a fascinating cultural and historical value as the last Kingdom of Sri Lanka before falling to British rule. Kandy Temple is the most sacred Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka, where a tooth relic of Lord Buddha is enshrined since 4th Century AD. Participate for a daily Pooja and take the blessings of this holy place. The Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya is another beautiful and historical place in Kandy which anybody shouldn’t miss on a tour to Kandy.

It is the time to witness the making of world renowned Ceylon Tea in the hills of Sri Lanka! Take a ride in the misty roads passing a world full of tea. Visit a tea plantation and a factory to experience a guided “tea tour” to get an in depth knowledge of the whole process from plucking tea leaves till getting the perfect cuppa. Enjoy the sceneries around Nuwara Eliya also known as Little England for its colonial looks and early English summer type of climate before boarding to your train from Nanu-Oya. It is the most scenic train ride in Sri Lanka where you travel passing the tea fields, misty mountain tops, waterfalls, tunnels and the smiling faces of children waving at you from a distance. Get down from Ella the most famous hill country village in the country where you could just relax overlooking the breath-taking views or do some adventurous hikes and treks covering the Little Adam’s peak, Ella Rock and 9 Arch bridge.

Continue your journey towards south of Sri Lanka and travel to Yala via Buduruwagala where the sculptures of Lord Buddha carved on the rocks way back in 8th century A.D. including the tallest standing Buddha statue which is 51 ft. in height. A unique experience awaits in Yala where you’ll get the experience of Glamping (Luxury camping) bordering Yala National Park. Yala is the most visited National Park in Sri Lanka with a total area of 1268 sq. km filled with scrub and grassy plains, lagoons and rocky areas. Yala could be the best location to witness Leopards, Elephants, Sloth Bears, crocodiles, deer, monkeys, buffaloes, and various kinds of birds and other species during a four-hour game drive.

Final leg of the tour to be spent relaxing on a golden sandy beach shaded by a fringe of palm trees overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean. Mirissa is a great place to be with a clean stretch of pristine beach, few seafood restaurants to tease your taste buds with local cuisine and of course the famous starting point, if you are interested in a tour to witness great Blue Whales and Dolphins crossing your way in the deep waters. Spare some time to make a visit to the historic city of Galle and enjoy a guided walking tour inside the great Fort city. From stone paved lanes to gothic facades of antique churches and the historic cannons still mounted on to the ramparts, the Old Fort is the highlight of Galle city.
